The Ron Smead Benefit
Ron Smead; husband, father, son, brother and friend to many, found peace on April 20th after a four month battle with renal cell carcinoma. Ron fought with great strength and bravery, but in the end, the illness proved too much. Ron leaves behind a beautiful wife and daughter who need your help to offset the mounting medical bills, a product of fighting this illness.

The Ron Smead Charitable Foundation would like to thank all those that contributed to making this event a tremendous success. From those who donated their time, their money, or their goods or services, to those who just attended the events and joined in the celebration of Ron's life. Without all of you, this would not have been possible.
The outpouring of support was at times quite overwhelming. Everyone who partook in these events should walk away feeling a renewed sense of the general goodness that exists in all of us.
The Foundation will remain intact for the foreseeable future. We will continue to accept donations through the website, as well as through future fundraising events. Please keep this website bookmarked and visit periodically to see what's new.
Although the event is over, we ask that you continue to keep Vicki, Brooke, the extended Landsverk family (who treated Ron as one of their own), JoAnn, Maynard, Bob, and all those who were touched by Ron; in your prayers. And may God bless you all!
